| International Church Music Festival |
| The festival comes again to Coventry Cathedral this summer, with a programme of music from around the world. The festival features three concerts - The Featured Choirs Concert on Friday 20th June with the Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra brings together Saint Michael's Singers and the Lichfield Cathedral Special Choir, Choristers from Bluecoats School Choir and Coventry University Chamber Choir to perform music by Gustav Holst, Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Camille Saint-Saens. Saturday 21st June is the Festival Gala Concert with the ESO Symphony Orchestra and Saint Michael's Singers joins the Massed Festival Choir to be conducted by Sir David Willcocks. On Sunday 22nd June the festival will close with a Festival of Praise conducted by Paul Leddington Wright a features the Massed Festival Choir and the Coventry Cathedral Orchestra. All concerts start at 7.30pm. |

| 2007 - 2008 season plans |
| The choir's Executive Committee and Musical Director are finalising plans for an exciting 2007/2008 Season with a number of new works as well as the popular Christmas programme. The choir will again contribute to the BBC's Songs of Praise programme - The Big Sing - to be recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. November sees the choir performing again in Tewkesbury Abbey with a Remembrance Concert including music by Mozart and Karl Jenkins. December brings the regular carol concerts in Coventry Catherdral with a family concert in the afternoon and Carols for all in the evening. This is closely followed by a performance in Malvern to include excerpts from Messiah and other popular baroque syle music. The new year offers an Easter-tide concert, a performance at the International Church Music Festival and performances of 'Summer Music' at a variety of locations, thereby continuing to promote the choir and choral music in the local area As well as performing in the Cathedral the choir has concerts planned in Tewkesbury Abbey, Malvern Priory and the Royal Albert Hall. | School choirs join Saint Michael's Singers |
| Saint Michael's Singers will be joined by both the BBC Songs of Praise Junior School Choir 2006 and the Senior School Choir in their Christmas concerts. The Junior Choir from Sketchley Hill Primary School Leicestershire will take part in 'Family Carols' at 3pm on the 16th December and the Senior choir from St Aidan's C.E.High School Harrogate will join the Saint Michael's Singers and the Coventry Youth Orchestra for 'Carols for All' at 7.30pm also on the 16th December. Saint Michael's Singers are also pleased to welcome back to Coventry Cathedral Coventry Bluecoat School Choir who will be joining them in a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah on the 18th November. The Bluecoat School Choir has performed with Saint Michael's Singers on numerous occasions, most memorably in 1996 at the 150th anniversary performance of Elijah in Birmingham Symphony Hall. |

| The Parliament Choir come back to Coventry |
| Saint Michael's Singers are pleased to welcome back to Coventry Cathedral The Parliament Choir to join them in a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah. The choir is made up of peers, MPs and staff from the Palace of Westminster. Their Musical Director Simon Over, is a former organist at the Methodist Central Hall. The choirs last visit to Coventry was two years ago when they joined Saint Michael's Singers for a performance of Verdi's Requiem. The Elijah concert with both choirs will be repeated in Westminster Cathedral on Wednesday 6th December, conducted by Simon Over. |

| Saint Michael's Singers Welcomes Sir Thomas Allen |
| Saint Michael's Singers are delighted to present a performance of Elijah, one of the most celebrated works in the choral repertoire, with world-renowned baritone Sir Thomas Allen in the title role. Sir Thomas Allen is well-known in the great opera houses of the world and his film credits include Mrs Henderson Presents and The Real Don Giovanni. The singers are looking forward to working with such an established star. |
